Reaching the heights

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2

Our team of 8 worked together to to cover the distance of just shy of 200 miles across Colorado and Wyoming, topping out a heights of 10,500 feet.

Running across the rolling hills of Wyoming through open range land.

Team bonding

Without a good team encouraging me along facing running more miles than I’d ever ran on zero sleep would have been impossible.

August 2018

August 2018 will start with a bang as I run the Wild West Relay Aug. 3rd & 4th. 200 miles across Colorado from Fort Collins to Steamboat springs with 7 other amazing women. Should be an adventure of a lifetime!

August also equals back to school. I may be a runner, but I’m still a mom who home schools part-time thanks to our kids amazing school. 1st and 5th grade here we come… Should be an interesting month!

Sometimes I wish I could go back in time and tell my younger self how much I’d love running, but I suppose I wouldn’t have listened. I probably would’ve laughed. I guess that’s not the plan God had for me. I had to earn my love for running one step at a time, one mile at a time, one year at at time, one success at a time.

Sunrise in the desert. Another day another sunrise. Thankful for each one. #Godisgood
